Our Facilities - Benton Civic Center

The Benton Civic Center facilities consist of two building serving very different functions and capabilities. Our two buildings consist of the Benton Civic Center and the Kiwanis Hall.

The Civic Center is a large multi-use facility consisting of a lobby area with concession stand, wet bar, coat room and restrooms, all leading into our main hall. The main hall features over 12,000 sq. ft. of useable floor space which can be configured to host any type of event from a wedding banquet to a theatrical performance, small trade show or a corporate meeting. Capable of holding events up to 1,200 people the flexibility allows for most any type of event clients might require. Banquets generally can seat from 100 people to a high of 800. Banquets smaller than 100 people might want to consider our Kiwanis Hall for their needs. The Benton Civic Center does not offer catering services but does work with any number of caters in our area and can make suggestions to prospective clients. The facility does maintain a liquor license with the City of Benton allowing the serving of wine and beer for any event wishing to have such services. Who knew we could be so flexible!  

Bookings are accepted for up to one year in advance. For further information on renting the Civic Center call the main office at 618.435.5700 between the hours of 9AM and 1PM.

The Kiwanis Hall is a facility managed by the Benton Civic Center Authority Board in a cooperative agreement between the Benton Park District and the local Kiwanis service organization. The facility features a meeting room area capable of seating up to 150 people together with a full kitchen facility. The facility hosts many wedding and baby showers, garage sales, civic meetings, organizational fundraisers, birthday parties, and family reunions to name just a few. New this year is a complete updating of the heating and air conditioning systems in the building allowing for a very comfortable environment inside year ‘round.
